We’ve been visiting Cafe Spice Namaste regularly ever since they moved to Lower Dock Walk in Royal Albert Wharf three years ago and it’s not hard to see why. In my opinion I consider this Indian restaurant to be the best in London.

The restaurant is run by a fabulous couple who are a true credit not only to Indian cuisine but to the hospitality industry itself. They also do more than anyone I know to raise money for many worthwhile charities and also run competitions to help youngsters become top chefs. I’m talking about Cyrus and Pervin Todiwala. Cyrus is the chef patron who leads his team to create amazing food and Pervin leads the front of house team superbly and makes sure every single customer is looked after.

We’ve been to this restaurant for all types of occasions ie. A la Carte , Surprise Tasting Menu’s , Khaadras Clubs , Charity Events including Burns Night which is the best evening of the year and a Masterclass. On each of these events we have enjoyed the best Parsee food and service which is why we return frequently.

The restaurant is a short walk from Gallions Reach on the DLR in a stunning location with views up the river thames towards City Airport and Canary Wharf.

I can’t recommend a visit to Cafe Spice Namaste highly enough and honestly believe that once you have been here you will definitely return. I for one will certainly carry on visiting here because it’s my number one and only place where I now want to go to enjoy the best Indian food and service.
